MyCSULB Login
Every CSULB student and employee has a BeachID Account. A BeachID Account is a nine-digit “username”, which is similar to your Campus ID) and your password, which proves your affiliation with the University and enables you to use the CSULB computing services. Your access to specific campus systems is based on your role within the University. BeachID accounts are automatically generated as new affiliations are created as when students first enrolled or when employees are hired.

You may log in to your account via https://csulb.okta.com/. You just need to enter your Campus ID and password to access your CSULB account. The BeachID Account Manager is an online tool that you could use to manage your MyCSULB account. Use the BeachID Password Manager to: activate an account, reset your password in case you forgot it, change password or security questions on the account, and look-up an email address.

Note: Your Campus ID is the nine-digit number you use when logging into MyCSULB and BeachBoard. Click Next, then you will be required to set security questions and password for your account. The password is case-sensitive and should have the following requirements:
- Must have 10-16 characters
- Contains three of the following four character types:
- Uppercase letters (A through Z)
- Lowercase letters (a through z)
- Numbers (0 through 9)
- Special characters (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + – = { } | [ ] \ : ” ; ‘ < > ? , . /)
- It must not contain spaces and non-English characters
- Must not include any part of your full name
- Should be any of your previous passwords
Additionally, your password will be locked after five unsuccessful attempts. If locked, you will be required to visit https://beachid.csulb.edu to set a new password.
Reset account
In case you forgot your password, you may reset your account. You will be asked to enter your Campus ID number and date of birth. Click on next and follow the succeeding instructions to complete the process.
Change password or security questions
If you want to modify your BeachID password or security questions, you just need to click Change Password or Security Questions. Then, you will need to login on all your mobile device(s) like smartphones and tablets on these device(s) using your new BeachID password, so they may continue to receive your campus email and to connect to campus wireless networks automatically.
